24 May Next Day Training
Given that we are training for ironman next day post race training is not off the cards, however be smart.
Last nights training consisted of using the cross trainer for an hour followed by a shorter but sharper swim.
These both take impact away from the joints and with swimming you are body weight supported.
I have also started doing dynamic stretching in the pool at the end of swim sets. Again you are body weight supported and warmed up so it’s a good time to work on range of motion.
