Monday’s Double Set

With only 5 weeks until Weymouth Ironman 70.3 I though I’d make a concerted effort to share training done each day. So a little late but here’s Mondays training.

Gentle warm-up followed by an hour on the treadmill at 1.5% incline @ 4:36 pace in a hot gym, I looked like I’d had a bucket of water over my head I’d finished. (6 weeks ago I was not even managing this pace for 30 minutes). I can confirm the treadmill was properly wiped down after.

Straight under the shower to rinse then into the pool.

Needed to keep this set sharp and on the move so 200m warm up then, set the stoke pacer and did the following:

400m off 8mins

2 x 200m off 4mins

4 x 100m off 2mins

8 x 50m off 1min

4 x 25m of 30secs

Then die in the shower!
