Knowing that a run was not immediately on the cards, try grabbing the trainers and doing the on the spot running drills.
So 15 minutes of weight transfer on the spot running the legs were feeling good and are bit by bit looser after each round.
This was a great feeling as got a short beach run in later on. All be it at the hottest point of the day but well paced, up hills and steps.
It felt great!
